people without disabilities

i was listening to this podcast the other day about this man's mentally retarded sister (that's what he called her) and he said that when they were both younger bodies the doctor spit out her diagnosis. the exact term, the exact diagnosis, was "severe and profound."

severe and profound

well, naturally, when i heard that...i thought...wouldn't i give anything to be severe and profound. anything. wouldn't you?

today i felt like heavy air.
