as we were driving into the part of the sky where the sun makes its glorious appearance, i couldn't help but notice that all the faces in the cars that i made a point to notice didn't surprise me.

it just struck me, like almost stepping on a tack, that even though i've never seen their faces...i wasn't expecting anything more than what i saw.
